With Fan Fest just over a week away I have good news and some not so good news, regarding guest announcements.
Let’s start with the not so good. Unfortunately for Doctor Who, Broadchurch and Legends of Tomorrow fans Arthur Darvill had to cancel his appearance, “due to filming commitments”.
The good news though, especially for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans is that Elizabeth Henstridge will a guest at Fan Fest this year, having a joint panel with Brett Dalton on Saturday from 4:00-5:00 pm, with photo ops starting at 11:00 am on Saturday.
Are you planning on going to Fan Fest? Who are you most excited to see? Let us know in the comments!
So this is a week later than I wanted to post, and I’m still behind on this weeks episode, but I’ll hopefully have that and Blacklist up by the end of the week.
Anyway, I thought that since for the next month IMDB has the full episode here via hulu
That I’d skip the recap entirely.
And once again I’ll start by saying that I thought the episode was great for a few reasons.
First of all, I thought it was awesome that this was the first episode where it seemed like they were finally laying the foundation for a main villain, and that the only overarching storyline wouldn’t just be Coulson’s memory of Tahiti being “a magical place”, though were’ definitely getting close to that considering Akela (and this is just my theory), acknowledged to May that it made sense if Coulson was different after a near death experience, but after that acknowledgement she said “Yeah, but what did they DO to him”, as if she’d been able to see something with her x-ray vision, that others couldn’t… Continue reading “Agents of S.H.I.EL.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Asset
So, I don’t have a ton to say about last week’s episode of AOS, however I will say that it passed the three episode mark, and still holds my interest. I give (as I mentioned on my blog for The Blacklist) any new show up to three episodes, because a pilot and it’s follow up are usually where we get some foundation, and by the third episode it should show us what we can expect. AOS has done just that. Continue reading “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Less is More” »
Now I was apprehensive to start Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a few reasons, one is I spend WAY too much time watching TV as it is, and adding another show that I wasn’t super stoked about just didn’t feel worth it, which may be shocking to some considering I’m a MARVEL fan (there may in fact be pictures of me in Ms. Marvel cosplay…). One main reason is after the first episode aired I got a lot of negative comments, with one friend and fellow blogger referring to it as “a trainwreck” and I said to him, (in so many words) surely it can’t be that bad… right?!?! Well I watched the first two episodes (I give any new show up to 3 to grab my attention, and have yet to watch the 3rd) and I have to say to my friend, and to others out there that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is in a “position to do some good” and “your frown will be on record”. However Continue reading “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. take your own advice” »
