I Don’t Want To Talk About It, TWD S5e2

GeeklyPressTWDs5e2Hi Readers,

This post is a week past due, partly because I didn’t watch season five’s second episode when it aired, and partly because, like everyone in the episode, I don’t want to talk about it. That being said, let’s talk about the episode “Strangers”. Continue reading “I Don’t Want To Talk About It, TWD S5e2” »

But we just got here! The Walking Dead S5e1

TWD_S5e1_GeeklyPress_TerminusOutHi Readers,

Like child who got to enjoy only one ride (and It’s A Small World at that) after a six hour road trip to Disneyland, I find myself pouting… a lot as I ponder the fact that there were so many things to love about the season five premiere of The Walking Dead, and yet it was all over too quickly, especially since I wanted to spend plenty of time at Terminus. How Did We Get Here? Seasons 1-4 of The Walking Dead

Hi Readers,

With the season five of The Walking Dead beginning in less than an hour, I found myself pondering just how we (and by “we” I mean both the audience and the characters) ended up the current predicament. Now this won’t be a complete rundown of the past four seasons, but I think it’s worth reviewing where folks are and how they got there.dead1 Continue reading “How Did We Get Here? Terminus, The Walking Dead S4e16

normal_The_Walking_Dead_S04E16__KISSTHEMGOODBYE_NET_0086Hi Readers,
Where should we begin, now that we’re at the end (of the season that is?) Well I thought I’d take a moment and make myself feel at least a little bit closer to as intelligent as Eugene Porter, by playing with Google Translate. You see, I wondered about Terminus. Yes I know that it was the original name for Atlanta, and was where all the train lines went through, but after looking at what the word actually means, I feel both more at peace about where the season left us, and all the hungrier for season five. Talk Nerdy To Me, The Walking Dead S4e15

normal_The_Walking_Dead_s04e15_WEBDL_720p_KISSTHEMGOODBYE_NET_0494Hi Readers,

Originally this post was going to focus primarily on all of the rules Daryl’s had to learn, especially when it comes to something being claimed, however Dr. Eugene Porter thoroughly won me over, so while Daryl will still be discussed along with everyone else (like TERMINUS), it makes perfect sense that Eugene will steal this blog, like every scene he was in. Culling the Flock, The Walking Dead S4e14

normal_The_Walking_Dead_S04E14_720p_KISSTHEMGOODBYE_NET_0567Hi Readers,
This is what I estimate will be the least sensitive response to a Walking Dead episode personally, and probably the least sensitive response to this episode. Yes, it was depressing, but thoroughly logical. So, let’s not only “look at the flowers”, but look at what’s growing and dying. Continue reading “Culling the Flock, The Walking Dead S4e14” »

The Walking Dead, What Lies Ahead

So last night was the premier of Season 4 of The Walking Dead… and I have to say… for a premier, it was a good episode BUT kind of felt like filler, except for a few key points, that I’ll address in this blog.

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 1: 30 Days Without an Accident

But first here’s part of why it felt like filler:

Walking-Dead-Daryl-Merle-DixonThere was actually very little excitement. The most exciting part of the episode at the “Big Spot!”, which I’ll admit elicited some gasps and exclamations of surprise at our TWD viewing party, in retrospect felt kind of underwhelming, Continue reading “The Walking Dead, What Lies Ahead” »
