Yesterday Tucson Comic-Con opened at the Tucson Convention Center, and though official numbers aren’t in yet, it had much higher attendance than previous years. This was the second year that Tucson Comic-Con was hosted at the convention center, and everyone from artists, writers, vendors and attendees could see and feel the difference. It’s still itty bitty compared to SDCC, however this year TCC had one thing in common with the huge con, LINES! Last year you could literally walk right in, this year there was a line to register and purchase tickets, and then a line just to get down to the sales floor, which was full of buyers, sellers, traders and cosplayers!
When it comes to the cosplay some were very traditional, while others like the zombie stormtooper had some fun with it!
More updates to come after Day 2!
